As the proud principal of this esteemed institution, I am honored to share our vision, values, and commitment to providing a high-caliber education while nurturing the well-being of our students.

 

At Ladera Ranch Elementary School, our mission is clear: "All students will reach at or above grade level in the areas of English language arts, math, and our students' overall well-being." This mission guides our every action and decision, ensuring that every child who walks through our doors receives the best possible education and support.

 

Our school is not just a place of learning; it's a place of caring, inclusivity, and empathy. Our dedicated educators are part of a professional learning community that is driven to excel. They are committed to our multi-tiered system of support, ensuring that every student receives the individualized education they need to succeed. We have implemented WIN time (What I Need) for students from kindergarten to fifth grade, where we meet them exactly where they are, based on priority standards, and or foundational skills, for their grade level.

 

Our mascot, the Lion, represents strength, courage, and determination that we instill in our students. We believe in creating leaders within our school, and our PBIS (Expectations for Positive Behavior and Intervention, and Support) program reinforces these values. We foster a welcoming environment for all, where every member of our community cares deeply about one another.

 

Being a part of Ladera Ranch Elementary School is a privilege, as it aligns with our District’s vision of a CUSD graduate. Our students possess foundational knowledge, concepts, and skills while maintaining a growth mindset. They are engaged citizens, showing empathy and respect towards others. They are skilled communicators, collaborating effectively and considering different points of view. They are innovative problem solvers and critical thinkers, continuously exploring creative solutions. Our students are inspired leaders who are self-motivated and goal-oriented, always ready to stand up for others.
